What it costs

$17.99 a month billed yearly, or $24.99 month to month, with the first month free. No commission on a cat, ever.

The short version

$17.99 a month, billed $215.88 a year, or $24.99 month to month. First month free either way.

That is the Breeder plan, and it is the whole of what you have to pay: unlimited listings that never expire, a cattery site at yourname.purry.app, your own domain on it if you want one, the Verified on Purry badge on everything you list, and verified reviews from buyers who took a cat home.

See an example cattery site: what your hosted site looks like, with a short tour.

Purry takes no cut of what a cat sells for. There is no commission and no fee on a payment. Buyers pay you directly, and a payment taken through Purry is processed through your own Stripe account; Stripe's own processing fee is charged to your account by Stripe.

Your first month free

First month free, then $17.99 a month billed yearly, or $24.99 month to month. Both plans start with a 30-day free trial with full access to the plan: your site, your listings and everything else go live as soon as you are verified, not when the trial ends.

  • A card at sign up. It is needed to subscribe, and nothing is charged that day: Stripe's page shows $0.00 due today.
  • Charged on day 31. The card is charged the plan's price automatically: $24.99 on the monthly plan, $215.88 on the yearly plan.
  • A reminder first. We email you 3 days before the first charge, with the amount, the date and links to update your card or cancel.
  • Once per seller. Cancel during the trial and nothing is charged. Coming back after canceling is at the list price with no free month.

Monthly or yearly

  • Monthly: $24.99 a month.
  • Yearly: $215.88 a year, which is $17.99 a month.

Your Billing page always says which plan you are on, what you pay now, what it becomes, and when.

$5 per cat for 30 days. Optional, no auto renew. Feature as many of your cats as you like, each its own purchase.

A featured cat comes first on the default view of Find a Cat, the kittens page (for a kitten), breed pages, breed-in-state pages and location pages, with its sticker, for 30 days from the moment you pay; the most recently featured cats come first among them. When a buyer chooses a sort of their own (newest, price, age), it takes its natural place in that order and keeps its sticker, and the buyer's filters always apply to it. Your cattery site is not affected.

Feature an available cat with Feature · $5 on its row in Cats for sale, or Feature this cat on the Featured card in its editor. Make it yours first: a border in one of six colors (peach, butter, sky, sage, lilac or rose) and a sticker, or No sticker, with the card previewed as you choose. Seasonal, special edition adds holiday stickers and rings. Change look changes them while it runs, at no cost.

It ends on its own after 30 days, or sooner if the cat is reserved or finds a home, and it does not come back; there is no refund for unused time. We email you 3 days before it ends, and each payment's Stripe receipt is on your Billing page.

A featured cat does not affect where you appear in the breeder directory. Nobody can pay for a place there: it lists breeders A to Z, or by most cats or newest when a visitor chooses that sort.

Custom domain

No extra charge. Your cattery site on your own address, like example.com, rather than yourname.purry.app, included with your plan. Connect it on the Site tab: how.

Canceling

Cancel any time from your Billing page with Cancel subscription. The cancel page says what happens before you confirm.

During your free month you have paid nothing, so there is nothing to refund. Cancel now takes your site, profile and listings down today. Cancel at the end of my free month keeps everything up until then, with nothing charged.

On a paid monthly plan, Cancel at the end of this month keeps everything up to the end of the month you paid for.

On a paid yearly plan, you can be refunded from the cancel page. Cancel and refund the unused months shows your refund today: the months you have used, counting a started month as a full one, are charged at the monthly list price in effect, $24.99, and the rest of what you paid goes back to your card. Cancel now and refund [amount] takes you to one last look at it, and Refund [amount] and cancel now confirms it. The plan ends at once, and a receipt comes by email. One refund per year paid. If the months used already come to what you paid, the page says No refund is due, and your plan can run to the end of the year you paid for.

On the way out of a paid plan we offer you one free month, once ever: Stay and your next month is free. On a yearly plan it moves your renewal a month later. Take it or do not; either way you will not be asked again.

Coming back after canceling is at the list price, with no free month. If you have a custom domain, it stays connected for 30 days, showing your site's unavailable page, then it is disconnected; restart within 30 days and nothing changes.

What your Billing page says

Your Billing page shows one line, from your subscription as Stripe has it:

  • Free. "Free until [date], then $24.99 a month." (or "then $215.88 a year." on the yearly plan). The date is when your free month ends. Set to cancel at the end of it: "Free until [date], then it ends. Nothing is charged."
  • Active. "Active. Next charge [date], $24.99."
  • Set to cancel. "Active until [date], then it ends."
  • Past due. "Your last payment did not go through. Update your card by [date] to keep your site and listings live."
  • Ended. "Ended [date]." Your dashboard says what restarting costs: the regular price, $24.99 a month or $215.88 a year.

Update card and Cancel subscription are there whenever you have a subscription; Manage subscription opens Stripe to change your card or download invoices. Featured cat payments are listed under Payments, each with its Stripe receipt.

If you stop paying

Nothing is deleted, ever.

If a payment fails you get a seven-day grace period, and we email you during it; everything keeps working until it runs out, and Update card fixes it. A subscription that has ended (canceled and its period over, or not paid after Stripe's retries) has no grace: it stops at once.

After that, until you restart:

  • Your listings go back to draft. You cannot publish them or add new ones.
  • Your cattery site shows a short page saying it is taking a break, and nothing else. The address keeps working.
  • You are not listed in the breeder directory, and with your listings in draft you are on no breed page.
  • Nothing new starts. Buyers cannot start a conversation or ask to reserve, and nobody can join a waitlist. Your waitlists stay visible to you and to the people on them, but nobody can be added, moved or removed.
  • Anything under way can finish. Existing conversations stay open on both sides, and you can still mark a reserved cat Found a home or Back to available (it goes to draft rather than on sale).
  • Featured time pauses with its remaining days kept, and resumes when that cat is available again.
  • Your Purry profile stays up, read-only: your reviews, the cats who found homes and your parent cats, with "This seller is not currently active on Purry." and no Verified badge, site link or Contact.
  • A custom domain is disconnected after 30 days.

Every dashboard page leads with Your subscription has ended, how many cats are waiting in draft, and Restart subscription. Restarting is at the regular price, $24.99 a month or $215.88 a year, with no free month. Once you have, publishing each cat again is a click.
