Payments Addendum

Updated October 26, 2026

This addendum applies to a seller who connects a Stripe account to Purry to take payments from buyers through Purry. It is part of the Seller Agreement, and you accept it when you connect Stripe. Where it differs from the Seller Agreement about payments through Purry, this addendum applies.

1. Your Stripe account

A payment through Purry is a charge made directly on your own connected Stripe account. You hold that account under Stripe's own terms, you pay Stripe's processing fees, and you control your payouts, refunds and disputes in your Stripe Dashboard. Purry does not hold, receive or guarantee any payment for a cat, and charges no fee or commission on it. Purry stores your Stripe account's identifier and its status, never your keys.

2. Your policy and your sales

You are responsible for your deposit and refund policy, for every refund, for disputes and chargebacks, and for your sales agreement with each buyer. Purry shows a buyer your policy as it was when you asked them to pay, and records that they agreed to it. Your policy cannot override applicable consumer protection law, and it does not limit a buyer's rights under their card issuer's dispute process.

3. Asking a buyer to pay

You may ask a buyer to pay through Purry only for a cat you have listed, for no more than the sale price, in its listing's currency. A Breeder may ask for a deposit or the full price, and takes a deposit only after a live video call and a written agreement; an agreement signed on Purry counts. An Individual seller asks only for the full price, to be paid when the buyer meets the cat in person, and never for a deposit. A cat is reserved for a buyer only once Stripe confirms their payment.

4. Refunds and disputes

You make refunds in your Stripe Dashboard, and you answer disputes there. Purry has no control over refunds, payouts or disputes, and shows each payment's status as Stripe reports it. Purry never refunds a payment for you and never moves money between you and a buyer. If you refund a payment, Stripe keeps its processing fee.

5. Countries

Payments through Purry are offered only where both your business location and your Stripe account are in a country Purry supports. Purry may pause payments through Purry on an account whose country is not supported or does not match your business location, and review it.

6. Disconnecting and suspension

You may disconnect your Stripe account at any time. When you do, or when Stripe ends Purry's access to it, Purry cancels your payment requests that have not been paid and tells those buyers. Records of past payments stay visible to you and to the buyer. Purry may suspend payments through Purry for your account under the Seller Agreement's enforcement terms.

7. Changes

Purry may change this addendum with notice. The version you accepted, and when, are recorded with your account. A seller who connects Stripe after a change accepts the version in force then.
